Contract a line from Telefonica when you stay in a new house.

And other question. Disaggregation process will take around 1 month. (2 weeks like minimum, and 3 months in the worse case)
I recommend to you that for 2 months, you follow with ono, and contract Jazztel in your new address.

All the ISPs in Spain Stink. Maybe Telefonica doesn't smell well: expensive and less speed, but it solves the problems quicker than the rest.

If you need Internet for working, Telefonica is the best option, not a good option but the rest of ISP's are worse when the client has problems.

You can contract jazztel in other situation, spare time, P2P, Videoconfere with your parents, friends,.... but You may use (not a must, but the call center is a mess) AMP (Jazz provider) which simplifies the proccess and inform you periodly you until you will have internet then the AMP work will end.

A tip:
In the new direction, can Jazztel gives you internet? I hope so but you can have a bad surprise, you could use google and find "telefono" or "tlfno" and the street to find a telephone number of the neighbourhood and check it in the Jazztel web

The procces can take 1 month but sometimes It gets worse (errors, delays,...) and in these cases AMP can reply directly to Jazztel which it's better than when you're alone.

If you contract the line in telefonica´s web site and you are a new customer, it will be free for you:

But Telefónica says it´s free if you do before 31 of january. After than 31 of january, it´s possible this offer will be renove and you can contract the line in the web page free but it isn´t sure.

About 20 megas, the disaggregation process can take about a month or it can be longer. It depend from Telefónica (if they want retain you or not) and Jazztel (if they do all correct). Although Jazztel sais that the process takes about a month.

Can be possible that you can´t contract 20 megas because the zone (where you will live) has not direct conexión with Jazztel. If you want to Know what adsl you can have in this zone, we can help you.

Lo que quiero decir, es que si haces el alta de la linea a través de la página web de Telefónica, el alta es gratis para los nuevos clientes.

Sobre los 20 megas, el cambio de Telefónica a jazztel puede durar entre un mes o más. Depende de telefónica (si te quiere retener) y de Jazztel (si hace las cosas bien). Aunque Jazztel dice que el proceso no durará más de un mes.

Es posible que no puedas contratar los 20 megas porque en la zona a la que vas a ir a vivir no tengas cobertura directa con Jazztel. Si quieres saber el tipo de adsl que puedes tener en esa zona, nosotros podemos ayudarte.

I don't like Telefonica, but if you are going to stay in your actual home just one or two months, my recomendations is Telefonica line, with Telefónica ADSL. Setup a line and then a ADSL of a Telefónica competitor sometimes it is fast, but sometimes can be a nightmare and take a lot of time. In addition you will need at least 2 weeks to disconect the ADSL.
Once you are in your final home, you need to contract first a line with Telefónica. If you do it by internet, as it was mentioned for one of my colleages of forum, setup is for free. As soon as you have a line of Telefónica, you can ask to Jazztel to move to them. I recomend you, before all of this to find out about the coverage of your area. Ask for the tel# of one of your neighbours and go to the Website of Jazztel. Normally if you are in a city you can choose for a partially disconnected service or totally disconnected service. If it is partially, the telcalls will be routed by Telefónica and it is going to invoice too the line maintenance. Jazztel will be responsable of the ADSL with a maximum speed of 6Mbps. If you choose completely disconnected, your line and phone number will be transferred to Jazztel so they will be responsable to invoice you of everything and you will never receive an invoice from Telefónica. The cost of ADSL 20Mbps (this is the maximum, but not guaranteed speed you can reach) + unlimited national calls (mobile phones excluded) is 29,95€ a month + line maintenance (12,95€/month) + VAT.
